Anyware Connector (RHEL and Rocky Linux) 24.07
Version 24.07 of Anyware Connector contains bug fixes and stability enhancements. There are no new features in this release.
Resetting Connectors after changing DNS settings
If you change DNS settings after installing the Connector, it is recommended to reset the VM to ensure the settings get applied to K3S cluster, and not just to the host VM.
Firewall settings prevent download of some container images
The issue can be resolved by downloading and using darksite installer.
Script updated to the latest version
Script now checks correct folder for logs.
Updated Curl Command
This issue was fixed by providing a specific curl command and did not require code changes
Issue with Populating Workstation Lists
When a user was entitled to a large number (30+) of workstations with a specific configuration that could not be pooled, populating a list of workstations would take a longer time and in some cases, some workstations would not respond at all.
The process has been optimized, and the list will now be populated correctly for significantly larger number of workstations.
Anyware Connector Memory Management Issues
Some customers reported issues with memory management in version 23.12.
Workaround
The issue was fixed in 24.03. If you are experiencing this issue, upgrade to version 24.07.
