Release Notes

Client SDK for Linux 21.07.6

Important Notes and Requirements

  • Use of Anyware Client SDK requires a separate agreement with HP Anwyare.

  • The SDK is intended for use cases where client customizations are required and when Anyware Software Clients, PCoIP Zero Clients, and PCoIP Mobile Clients are not sufficient.

  • The SDK is intended for customers with software development skills and knowledge, as well as a sound understanding of virtualization systems.

Release 21.07.6 of the Client SDK for Linux is a maintenance release which replaces and deprecates 21.07.5.

It includes the following fix:

  • Resolved an issue with audio libraries. This issue had been causing audio to play at low volumes on certain systems.
  • Security updates and enhancements.

Previous release information

21.07.5

  • In this release ADPCM silence packets were updated to use the correct timestamp for silence packets

21.07.4

  • In this release of the Client SDK for Linux an issue where audio packets were sent by the PCoIP Agent while there was silence has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where, on exit, Session Client (PCoIP Client SDK) sends a enter keystroke intended for the command prompt, however this keystroke will be caught by whatever application is currently in focus. Now the Session Client sends the keystroke directly to the command prompt, so no other application will capture this keystroke.
