Release Notes
Client SDK for Linux 23.01
Important Notes and Requirements
-
Use of Anyware Client SDK requires a separate agreement with HP Anwyare.
-
The SDK is intended for use cases where client customizations are required and when Anyware Software Clients, PCoIP Zero Clients, and PCoIP Mobile Clients are not sufficient.
-
The SDK is intended for customers with software development skills and knowledge, as well as a sound understanding of virtualization systems.
In addition to bug fixes and stability enhancements, this release also introduces the following feature to the PCoIP Client SDK for Linux:
Connection Health Indicator
This release introduces a new feature called Connection Health to the Client SDK for Linux. This feature allows users to monitor the health of an active PCoIP session, including live statistics for frame rate, network packet loss, and network latency. The Connection Health feature does not currently support clients with a custom Branding Package. If your client does not have a custom Branding Package, a new Health menu will appear in the client in-session menu.
None.
Anyware Health Monitor Shows Extra Displays in Dropdown List
When switching from Full Screen All Monitors to a single monitor or window, the Anyware Health window display selection drop-down beside the framerate field may show more than one display on the list.
If more than one display is listed when there is only one monitor or window in the session, be sure to select "Display 1" to see the correct framerate data.
The name of network shown in Anyware Health Monitor does not change during a session
In Anyware Health Monitor, the name of network shown will not change during a session even if the actual network changes.
For example, if an ethernet cable is pulled out and the system switches to WiFi, the name of network will not change in the Anyware Health Monitor display until the session is disconnected and reconnected.
