Welcome to the March 19, 2020 release of the Cloud Access Connector for Google Cloud, AWS and On-Premises (Version 10). This release includes the following fix:

Cloud Access Connector can distinguish between public and private IPs when using AWS ALB

A fix was made so that this type of direct connection using AWS ALB now correctly distinguishes between public and private addresses.
