Resolved Issues

CMSG trimming leading whitespaces from passwords

206266

CMSG 23.12 was trimming leading spaces in passwords. This issue was fixed and passwords with spaces now work as expected.

Known Issues

Connection Manager no longer advertises CAP_ALTERNATE_CREDENTIALS to broker

168416

Releases of the Connection Manager, 21.07 and later no longer advertise the CAPALTERNATECREDENTIALS capability to the broker. If the broker is compliant to the Broker Protocol Specification, it would as a result be unable to allocate a desktop using alternate credentials.

Workaround:

The Connection Manager still supports alternative credentials. In the meantime, brokers may be updated to assume CAPALTERNATECREDENTIALS is supported and provide the alternate credentials in the resource allocation message.

Installing PCoIP Connection Manager with square brackets around IPv4 address will fail

134563

During installation, the PCoIP Connection Manager can be configured for IPv4 or IPv6 addressing. IPv6 addresses use square brackets, [], around the address. If the square brackets are used around an IPv4 address then installation will fail.

Example of a failing setting: --broker-url https://[10.128.28.8]:60443

Workaround:

Perform a new installation without the square brackets.
