Mobile Client for Android Tablets and Chromebooks 24.07
Release 24.07 of the Mobile client for Android contains bug fixes and stability enhancements. It also includes the following:
Name Change Announcement
The Mobile Client is renamed as HP Anyware Client with this release. The app icon and the client interface reflects this change.
Clipboard Did Not on Android Clients
The copy-paste functionality did not work on Android clients. This issue has now been fixed.
IPv4 & IPv6 Addresses Could Not be Entered as Server Connection Addresses
Previously, valid IPv4 and IPv6 addresses were not accepted as server connection addresses in the Android app. This issue has now been fixed.
Chromebook use of Android App: Audio may not pause
When the Android client app is in the background on a Chromebook, the playing audio may not pause as expected.
There is no known workaround to pause the audio on a Chromebook.
HP Anyware Client for Android should not be used on Chrome OS
This application is intended for Android devices. While Chrome OS allows Android applications to run natively on Chrome OS, we recommend using the HP Anyware Client application (available from the Chrome Web Store) for optimal performance.
