Incorrect incompatible software version error when the session is expired resolved
Previously when the session expired, an incorrect error message would be presented to the user and placed in the Connection Manager log stating that the failure was due to incompatible software versions. This is no longer the case.
Incorrect error is returned if zero client firmware does not support Amazon WorkSpaces
If a zero client is on a firmware earlier than 4.6.0, the PCoIP Connection Manager for Amazon WorkSpaces will cause a connection failure with an incorrect error message. It will report:
Error 6602: Command failed. Please report this failure to your system administrator. hostname missing from hello message
Note that the minimum firmware for connecting to Amazon WorkSpaces through the PCoIP Connection Manager for Amazon WorkSpaces (v1.0.7) is firmware release 5.5.1.
Vague error message from WorkSpace connection failure in diagnostics
If the diagnostics tool fails during one of the WorkSpace connection phases, the failure response is either Failed to get a response from Connection Manager
or Got an error response from Connection Manager
.
For more details following a diagnostics failure during one of the WorkSpace connection phases, review the latest Connection Manager log file:
$ less /var/log/Teradici/ConnectionManager/pcoip-connmgr*.log
System update overwrites the current version of OpenSSL
If an administrator performs a system update (apt-get upgrade
or apt-get update openssl
), the update will potentially replace OpenSSL with an earlier version.
Diagnostic tool will not attempt all tests upon one diagnostic failure
If one of diagnostic tool steps fails, then the tool will not run subsequent diagnostic steps.
As each diagnostic step fails, resolve the cause of failure and rerun the diagnostic tool.
Diagnostics tool cannot run from more than one console at a time
Running the Diagnostics tool from more than one console at a time is not supported. When viewing details, the results from the most recent run on any console will always be shown.
