24.10
This release contains bug fixes and stability enhancements. In addition, release 24.10 of the HP Anyware License Server includes:
Product Name Change Announcement
As part of this release, name changes from Teradici to HP have been implemented in various areas, including service name, directory names, man pages and more.
24.07
Version 24.07 introduces the following new features and capabilities:
Support for Designating IP Addresses
In version 24.07, full support for designating IP addresses has been added. IP addresses for the license server can be specified in the localconfiguration.yaml file. This capability is useful in scenarios where customers have multiple network interfaces, and they want to reserve specific IP addresses for license server communication.
Note: In the previous releases, the license server would not start after IP address assignment. This issue has now been fixed, and the license server starts as expected.

24.03
Release 24.03 of the includes the following:
Support for Darksite Failover Configuration
Version 24.03 supports the configuration of failover license servers in darksite environments. A second standalone PCoIP License Server can now be configured as a backup to a primary PCoIP License Server in a complete darksite environment. If the primary PCoIP License Server fails or loses connectivity, the backup PCoIP License Server will automatically begin validating sessions, thereby ensuring greater fault tolerance and continuity of operations.
Viewing Binary Content from Request.bin & Reponse.bin No Longer Available
In version 24.03 of PCoIP Linux License Server, the ability to view binary information from the request.bin and reponse.bin files is removed for security reasons. In the previous the pcoip-activate-offline-license -v <response.bin>
command could be used to view the binary content. Now, this feature is no longer available.

Release 23.08 of the PCoIP License Server provides security enhancements.
23.06
Release 23.06 of the PCoIP License Server provides security enhancements.
23.04
Release 23.04 of the PCoIP License Server includes the following change:
- Access log file naming pattern changed for rolled over files to access_<yyyy-mm-dd>.request.log
22.09
This release is issued to maintain version parity with other components. It contains no feature or behavior changes from the previous release.
22.07
Version 22.07 of the PCoIP License Server is released to maintain version parity with other components. There are no feature or behavior changes from the previous version.
22.04
Release 22.04 of the PCoIP License Server includes the following updates:
- Bug fixes and stability enhancements.
- The logging framework has been updated from log4j to logback. This does not require any configuration by the user.
21.03
Release 21.03 of the PCoIP License Server includes the following:
- Fixes an issue where license activations would occasionally fail when running on GCP.
20.10
Release 20.10 for the PCoIP License Server introduces the following:
- Introduces support for RHEL 8 and CentOS 8.
- Bug fixes and security enhancements.
20.04
The Teradici PCoIP License Server 20.04 contains the following improvements:
- Added support for QEMU-KVM.
- Added support for GCP instances.
pcoip-view-license
has been renamed topcoip-list-licenses.
Previously, the PCoIP License Server and PCoIP agents used different commands for this functionality; both now usepcoip-list-licenses
. For backwards compatibility, the deprecated command will continue to work.- Security enhancements and bug fixes.
