Management Console
Management Requirements
- PCoIP Management Console 21.10 or newer supports Single Sign-on (SSO) via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) by integrating with the customer's Identity Provider (IDP).
- PCoIP Management Console 21.07 or newer supports self-signed certificates using SCEP for Remote Workstation Cards using firmware 21.07 or higher.
- PCoIP Management Console 21.01 or newer supports Zero Clients and Remote Workstation Cards using firmware 20.01 or higher.
- Customers upgrading to release 2010.10 or newer via RPM require access to the Internet to install Python 3.6 libraries. Optionally, customers can upgrade via the OVA format (which is packaged with Python 3.6 libraries).
- PCoIP Management Console 2.0 - 19.11 supports Zero Clients with firmware 5.x or 6.x and Remote Workstation Cards with firmware 5x.
Note: These are unsupported versions of software and firmware and Teradici strongly recommends Zero Client and Remote Workstation Card firmware 20.01 or higher, which are managed by Management Console 20.01 or higher. - Management Console manages endpoints using PCoIP firmware 5.x and newer. Check release notes for any special considerations when managing firmware with Management Console.
- PCoIP Management Console is only intended to be deployed in a secured environment. Any management exposure to unsecured endpoints should be performed through a reverse proxy.
- PCoIP Management Console must not be accessible from unsecured networks, such as the open Internet. Making this release of PCoIP Management Console accessible from the open Internet is an unsupported use of the product and will void any warranty
- PCoIP Management Console cannot import databases from versions of PCoIP Management Console before version 2.0. However, migration instructions are available through the administrators' guide for moving your profiles and deployments from earlier versions of PCoIP Management Console to this version.
- PCoIP Management Console is tested against the browser version available prior to release. Internet Explorer 11 is not a supported web browser.

PCoIP Management Console version 24.07.1 is a release with security updates over release 24.05.1.
Version 24.07.1 includes the following:
New Features & Changes
- Toggle to enable or disable Persistent Configuration in the Scheduled tab is now moved to the Profile tab.
- The Persistent Configuration feature was operated via a Scheduled job in previous MCs. Starting with MC 24.07.1, it is enhanced to automatically apply profiles when the endpoints (zero clients and hard hosts) transition from offline to online, specifically targeting profiles that are marked as NON-COMPLIANT.
For more information, see Persistent Configuration under "Managing Profiles" in the PCoIP Management Console 24.07.1 Administrators' Guide. - In the MC UI, validation is added for the Database Backup Description input field in the Database tab under Settings. Previously, all special characters were accepted. Starting with MC 24.07.1, only underscores and alphanumeric characters are accepted.

The HD Audio Property Is Now Renamed
The HD Audio property has been renamed to Enable Audio in CLIENT and HOST MC profiles.
Management Console Profile Now Supports Enable Analog Audio Input
A new property called Enable Analog Audio Input has been added under the Audio input tab for CLIENT DUAL and CLIENT QUAD profiles. When Enable Audio is enabled, Enable Analog Audio Input can be configured to be either Enabled or Disabled, thereby allowing control of analog audio input from zero clients. For more information, see Enabling Analog Audio Input in the PCoIP Management Console 23.12.2 Administrators' Guide.
Previous Releases
The following change was introduced in previous versions.
Zero Client Firmware 23.12.0 Non-FIPS files now upload correctly
Zero Client Firmware version 23.12.0 (FIPS and Non-FIPS versions) files can now be uploaded in Management Console version 23.12.1. Previously, non-FIPS files would throw an error when attempting to upload.
Support for Persistent Configuration
This release introduces a new Persistent Configuration Schedule Type, which enforces a configuration profile on managed endpoints. Each time a persistent configuration schedule runs, its endpoints will be checked for compliance; if an endpoint's profile has been modified and does not match the expected configuration, the Management Console will re-apply the configured profile.

Users can export a profile, make edits to the profile, and then import the profile to the current Management Console, or import the profile into another Management Console.

You can now enter distinguished group queries in the Active Directory Group field.
RPM installer does not change firewall settings
RPM install no longer changes firewall settings. System administrators need to configure the firewall as per their organization's security needs.
Database disk space warning messages
Warning messages are displayed when not enough disk space is available when performing database restore, backup or upload operations.
Database backup log file exclusion
You can exclude log files when creating database backups.

General Availability of Management Console RPM
With Redhat Package Manager (RPM), Management Console's data, certificates, and OS configurations are preserved during upgrades. With Management Console RPM, all Linux dependencies are installed so you can get up and operational quickly when you upgrade to a future release.
Account Lockout Changes
A Management Console user is now locked out for a period of 30 minutes when 6 consecutive failed login attempts occurred within 30 minutes.
Added User Principal Name (UPN) support
Users can now use UPN names to log into Management Console
Generic Tag and Device Description endpoint properties
Generic Tag and Device Description Endpoint Properties have been added to both the endpoint properties and filtering options.
Management Console Users can edit their own profile
Users of any role can now edit their own profile information when logged into the Management Console.
