Cloud Access Software 2020.04 is now available

We’re excited to announce that Cloud Access Software 2020.04 is now available for download.

Those with a subscription to Cloud Access or Cloud Access Plus can download this version which introduces the following new features for PCoIP Agents and PCoIP Software Clients:

PCoIP Ultra

• Added H264 420 hardware decode with Ubuntu 18.04 Linux clients enabling lower CPU utilization and higher frame rate performance

Added support for additional Wacom devices

• Intuos Pro Small (PTH-460)
• Cintiq 22HD (DTK-2200)
• Cintiq Pro 32 (DTH-3220)

Override Local Termination of Wacom Tablets

• Local Termination of Wacom tablets provides the best user experience in high latency networks, however some features of the tablet may not be fully supported with local termination. A HID Local Termination Blacklist has been added to override the preferred local termination mode and bridge the tablet instead. For more information, see Local Termination Blacklist

High Performance Client

• Enables a high performance mode of the PCoIP Software Clients (Windows and Linux) which facilitates an increased frame rate and smoother playback

License Server updates

• Added KVM and GCP support to License Server
• Command pcoip-view-license has been renamed to pcoip-list-licenses

AWS and GCP Marketplace updates

• AWS Marketplace update
• Update OS from Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2019
• Support for G4 instance types and removal of G3 instance types within the Marketplace image. On EC2 (outside of AWS Marketplace), we continue to support G2/G3/G4 with PCoIP Graphics Agents
• GCP Marketplace update
• Update OS from Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2019
