What is new in Cloud Access Software 2021.07

PCoIP Graphics Agent for macOS

  • First release of our Agent for macOS
  • Available as Graphics Agent and part of the Cloud Access+ subscription.   

Webcam support – Windows/Linux clients to Windows PCoIP Agents

  • USB Webcams are now supported in PCoIP sessions when connected to PCoIP Agent for Windows. Webcams can be used with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other conferencing applications running on the remote desktop

IPv6 support

  • Teradici clients (Mac, Linux, Windows, Zero Client) and Agents now support IPv6 addresses when connecting directly (unbrokered)

Support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

  • Connect to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) using the PCoIP Software Client for Linux over RDP
  • Simplifies mixed deployments from a single client for customers with remote desktops for high performance graphics-intensive workloads with Teradici CAS (PCoIP) and less graphics intensive, multi-session workloads via the RDP protocol

TLS 1.1 deprecation

Changes to macOS client keyboard handling

  • New default handling for the CMD key to capture and send to remote systems when the PCoIP Client application is in focus. Additionally, the CMD key will no longer be mapped to the CTRL key
Smart card support – SSO from Zero Clients to Windows PCoIP Agent (direct connect or brokered via Leostream)

OS updates – added support for RHEL8 with PCoIP Agents for Linux

PCoIP Ultra AVLock

PCoIP Client for Linux now has PCoIP Ultra AV-Lock menu available in the High Performance Client mode and with PCoIP Ultra enabled, for more information on this, see here.
