How do I reset the configuration parameters entered on my PCoIP Zero Client or PCoIP Remote Workstation Card?
Answer:
There are four ways to reset the PCoIP Zero Client to default settings which are described below. The PCoIP Remote Workstation card (also known as a PCoIP host card) has one reset procedure also described below. Some network information will be logged by normal operation when a PCoIP Zero Client or PCoIP Remote Workstation Card is connected to a network and turned on (i.e. the end of a reset process). This may be important to know if the PCoIP device is destined to be deployed outside the current environment.
Important Notes:
- The reset procedure does NOT erase or add OSD Logos. This must be done separately.
- Consider unplugging the network cable to prevent the PCoIP Zero Client logs from picking up any network information when resetting via the OSD or using Hotkeys.
- Consider clearing the logs after the reset process by browsing to Diagnostics > Event Log in either the AWI or OSD and click the Clear button.
