We very pleased that we have released updates for the 2021.03 release:
  • PCoIP Zero Client Firmware 21.03
  • PCoIP Remote Workstation Card Firmware 21.03.1
  • PCoIP Remote Workstation Card Software for Linux and Windows 21.03
  • PCoIP Remote Workstation Card Agent for Linux and Windows 21.03
Teradici recommends to always run a supported version to stay updated with the latest security updates.

PCoIP Zero Client Firmware 21.03

New Features

Additional Smart Card Support
  • Smart Card IDEMIA Cosmo 8.1 r2 with IAS-ECC V1.0.1 applet on Horizon View support added.
Added New Logging Capabilities
  • Latency to Management Console is captured in the logs every 10 minutes
  • NTP time syncs are fully logged
  • Blocked keyboard entries are logged to the syslog by default
  • Session log id is displayed in the syslog

Security Updates

Fixed Issues

Imprivata OneSign login time has been improved
  • With some versions of PCoIP Zero Client Firmware we have seen longer login times. With the 21.03 Firmware version Imprivata OneSign login time has been reduced to the same login time as Zero Client 6.4 and earlier.
Zero Client will no longer crash if presented with certificate with long issuer name
  • Zero Client no longer crashes if the Connection Manager presents a certificate with issuer name longer than 64 characters.
AWI can be accessed if uppercase label is used
  • If the 'PCoIP Device Name' uses uppercase letters, users will no longer encounter 'HTTP 404 - Not Found' error when trying to access the AWI
PCoIP Zero Client Firmware 21.03 has been tested with VMware Horizon 8.0 (2006) and 8.1 (2012) and will be submitted for certification for Horizon View 8.2 (2103)

AWI can be accessed if uppercase label is used
  • If the 'PCoIP Device Name' uses uppercase letters, users will no longer encounter 'HTTP 404 - Not Found' error when trying to access the AWI.
Reboot of host PC will no longer cause Remote Workstation Card to be unresponsive
  • Random issue where Remote Workstation Card is unresponsive after reboot on some computers has been fixed. (Sporadically seen with 21.01 firmware). This fix has also been applied to PCoIP Remote Workstation Card Firmware 21.01.2
No major changes to the RWC software and agents (new versions are for compatibility with 21.03 and security updates)
