Workstation shows error "Host OS shut down unexpectedly" and it never goes away

Customers may receive a hardware error: "Host OS shut down unexpectedly".
This error should go away once the operating system is running.
If the operating system is running and the error does not go away, make sure that the workstation is running the latest BIOS version and Intel AMT patched version available for the hardware.

Known issue:
HP Z840 Workstations that present this error will keep showing the error even if the latest BIOS and Intel AMT patched versions are installed. After verifying the operating system is booted, the only way to make the error go away is by clearing the AMT Event Log using a tool like MeshCommander.
