HP Anyware Manager POC Setup
This KB article provides an overview of HP Anyware Manager once it is setup using the quick start provisioning scripts located here: https://github.com/teradici/cloud_deployment_scripts. This article outlines how to sign into the HP Anyware Manager Admin Console, add, provision and view remote workstations and users from the HP Anyware Manager Admin Console and establish a PCoIP Session.
Sign-in to the HP Anyware Manager Admin Console
- Open a web browser and navigate to https://cam.teradici.com/beta-ui
- Sign-in with your Google or Microsoft credentials.
- Accept beta-ui from the pop up dialog.
- Select the Tera Demo deployment from the top navigation menu.
View Workstations
From the left navigation menu of the HP Anyware Manager Admin Console, click on Workstations. If you have any remote workstations added to the HP Anyware Manager, they will appear here.
From this page, any available remote workstations that can be power managed by HP Anyware Manager, can be started, stopped or restarted.
Assigning Users to Remote Workstations
From the Workstations view click the remote workstation you would like to assign users to. This will take you to the Edit Remote Workstation view.
- In the Add User field, select the user you would like to add.
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
Provisioning New Remote Workstations
- From the left navigation menu of the HP Anyware Manager Admin Console, click on Workstations.
- Click on the +.
- Click Create New Remote Workstation.
Once you are in the Create Remote Workstation Page, select the remote workstation specification you would like to create and fill in the required directory services credentials. When you are done, click Create.
Establishing a PCoIP Session
In order to be able to establish a PCoIP Session, you must have at least 1 HP Anyware Connector deployed, and 1 remote workstation.
From the HP Anyware Manager Admin Console menu click Connectors and copy the public IP address of the selected HP Anyware Connector.
Open your PCoIP Client and enter the public IP address that you copied from the previous step.
Enter your Username and Password.
Select your remote workstation and connect.
