Horizon brokered connections using PCoIP security gateway

Knowledge Base Article Troubleshooting Setup Remote Workstation Card

Users with a Horizon 7.7 or newer brokered connection to a Remote Workstation Card require the configuration of an additional setting when using the PCoIP Security Gateway.  The PCoIP Security Gateway is used with Horizon View Connection Server when connecting to a local Remote Workstation Card from a PCoIP endpoint located outside the local network. 

From the server running the PCoIP Security Gateway, perform the following steps:

  1. Open registry editior.
  2. Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Teradici\SecurityGateway registry key.
  3. Add a new String (REG_SZ) value, SSLCertPresentLegacyCertificate, to this registry key.
  4. Set the SSLCertPresentLegacyCertificate value to 1.
  5. Restart the VMware Horizon View PCoIP Security Gateway service.
