System Requirements

Tip

At this time, Anyware Manager Enterprise is only available in North America and Europe.

Supported Environments

  • VMware vSphere 7.x and 8.x
  • Microsoft Windows 365
    Windows 365 Enterprise, deployed using the Microsoft-hosted network option
  • Registered devices (Windows physical and virtual machines)

Supported Agents

Anyware Manager Enterprise automates the installation of the following agents:

Supported Browsers

Anyware Manager Enterprise has been tested with the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge

Info

Others browsers have not been tested, but are expected to work.

Windows 365 Enterprise Prerequisites

  • Azure Tenant with Windows 365 Enterprise licenses and at least one user group with valid Windows 365 licenses.

  • Admin credentials to the Azure tenant.

  • For Windows 365 Enterprise, the following are essential:

    • Microsoft Intune entitlement

    • Microsoft Entra domain in the same tenant as Microsoft Intune

    • Windows 365 Enterprise licenses in the same tenant as Microsoft Intune

    • Microsoft hosted network (Microsoft Entra joined Cloud PCs)

    • An Identity Provider that has been configured with Microsoft for Federated Authentication using Entra ID credentials

    • Windows 365 licenses purchased and assigned to specific Entra users or all users in an Entra group

VMWare vSphere Prerequisites

  • Global Admin credentials to the Azure tenant.

  • Entra ID Connect synchronizing on-premise Active Directory and Entra ID identities.

vSphere Server Requirements

The AnywarePC conductor service must be installed on a domain-joined Windows machine with network visibility to the vSphere instance. Both VMs and physical machines are supported.

The following Windows versions are supported:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2022

Registered Device Prerequisites

The following Windows versions are supported:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11

Additional prerequisites include:

  • Outbound internet access on workstations that are to be registered

  • Permission levels sufficient to complete the installation of HP Anyware agent and Anyware Monitor on workstations

Additional Requirements

The following additional requirements apply to the VMs:

  • VMs are domain joined. If Entra ID is used, this is not required.

  • The following software are installed:

    • Active Directory Remote Server Administrator Tools (RSAT)
    • .NET Core 8
    • .NET Framework 8
    • VMware tools

  • Azure portal must be accessible from the VM.

  • VMs have outbound internet to access the tenant URL created during tenant creation.

Info

RSAT is a VMware remote control requirement.

vSphere Template requirements

  • Operating Systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11
  • VMware tools are installed

Anyware Software

  • Access to https://cas.teradici.com on TCP 443 for Broker connectivity.
  • License registration code emailed from us in the form of ABCDEF1234@AB12-C345-D67E-89FG. If you do not have access to your registration code, get in touch with your account executive. If you have a Microsoft Azure license, you do not require this license registration code.
  • To connect to remote workstations, you require a client. The following are the supported clients with HP Anyware Manager Enterprise:

Important Notes

  • Anyware Manager Enterprise is only available as a SaaS product.

  • At present, Anyware Manager Enterprise uses a limited telemetry library. A comprehensive telemetry library will be introduced in future releases.

  • At present, only 15 tenants are permitted per organization. If you require more tenants, get in touch with HP Anyware Support.

Anyware Manager Enterprise is integrated with HP Workforce Experience, a comprehensive platform that provides centralized access to manage and monitor every PC, Mac, printer, collaboration tool, and accessory in the HP ecosystem. Integration with HP Workforce Experience requires a company PIN, which must be associated with your tenants either at the time of adding them or editing them. Once associated, telemetry data for your HP Anyware deployment can be accessed from the HP Workforce Experience dashboard.
