Adding a Windows 365 Pool

Pools can be assigned to tenants either at the time of tenant creation or after. After the pool is assigned, Windows 365 will assign machines to the users in that pool.

Organization administrator account holders can add pools to all tenants, while tenant administrator accounts can only do this for the tenant they have rights to.

To add a pool at the time of tenant creation:

To add a pool after a tenant is onboarded:

  1. Log in to Anyware Manager Enterprise.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • (Organization Administrators) Click the Windows 365 tenant you want to add a pool to, and click the Pools tab.

    • (Tenant Administrators) Click Windows 365 the Pools tab.

  3. Click + Add Pool.

  4. On the Select Site pop-up, select a site, and click Next.

  5. On the Add Pool page, do the following:

  6. Pool name: Enter a suitable name for the pool, and click Next.

  7. Select device image: Select the appropriate device image, and click Next. Only Azure gallery images are supported at this time.

  8. Select target Entra groups: Select all the appropriate Entra groups which contain the users to be assigned to this pool.

  9. Click Create pool.

Editing a Pool

Info

Only the pool name can be modified.

  1. To edit a pool, click the ellipsis icon next to a pool, and click Edit.

  2. Update the pool name, and click Save.

Deleting a Pool

  • To delete a pool, click the ellipsis icon next to a pool, and click Delete.

The pool will be created and added to the list of pools.
