Overview of Edge Gateways¶
An Edge Gateway is a software solution that functions as a bridge between Cloud Gateways and unsupported regions. Installed and managed in customer environments, they act as connecting nodes, and offer continuous gateway service in geographical regions that are currently not supported by Cloud Gateways.
Edge Gateways are provisioned from Anyware Manager Enterprise, which generates unique installation commands for deploying Edge Gateways. During deployment, Edge Gateways are associated with sites. Sites represent geographical regions, and associating them with Edge Gateways ensures service availability and routing of sessions within a region through corresponding Edge Gateways.
