Adding a Registered Device Pool

Pools can be assigned to a registered device either at the time of tenant creation or after. After pool assignment, users must be associated with the pool.

Info

The following restrictions apply to the user accounts performing this operation:

  • Organization Administrators can add pools to all tenants.
  • Tenant Administrators and Organization Users can add pools to tenants assigned to them.

To add a pool at the time of tenant creation:

  1. Log in to Anyware Manager Enterprise.

  2. Click the registered device you want to add a pool to, and click the Pools tab.

  3. Click + Add Pool.

  4. On the Select site pop-up, select a site, and click Next. The Add Pool page containing a wizard interface for pool creation opens.

  5. On step 1, enter a suitable name for the pool in the Pool Name box, and click Next.

  6. On step 2, select a user assignment policy:

  11. Click Create pool.

Once the pool is created, the selected type of Anyware agent is installed on each registered device in the pool. As a result, these registered devices will be populated under Machines on the pool detail page.
