Changing User Assignment¶
At the time of setting up a registered device, the user assignment policy is specified. The following two types of policies are available:

Persistent - Manual
Users will not be able to connect to pools unless administrators have assigned them workstations that belong to pools.

Persistent - Automated
Users are automatically assigned to machines when they attempt to connect to pools.
If Persistent - Manual is selected, administrators can change the user—machine assignment as needed.

Only Organization Administrators and Tenant Administrators can perform this operation.
Assign a New User to the Machine¶
- From the Tenants page, find the tenant you want to edit, and click it.
- Find the pool to which the machine belongs, and click it.
- Click the Machines tab and then, find the machine to which you want to assign a user.
- In the pop-up, select the Assign user option. If a user is already assigned to the machine, the Unassign user option will be available to remove the user.
- Choose the user's name from the list, and then click Confirm.
Unassign Users from the Machine¶
- From the Tenants page, find the tenant you want to edit, and click it.
- Find the pool to which the machine belongs and click it.
- Click the Machines tab and then, find the machine from which you want to unassign a user.
- If a user is already assigned to the machine, the Unassign user option will be available to remove the user. Click the Confirm button on the Unassign user window.
Remove User Entitlement for Automatic Pools¶
- From the Tenants page, find the tenant you want to edit, and click it.
- Find the pool from which you want to remove users, and click it.
- Under the Users tab, find the user that you want to delete, and click the delete icon next to it.
- On the Remove user pop-up, click Confirm.
