Editing a VMware Pool¶
At the time of editing a VMware pool, you can do the following:
- Update the name of the pool
- Delete associated machines
- Add or remove users to the pool
- Change holding time
- Change the number of VMs
- Delete a pool
Info
The following restrictions apply to the user accounts performing this operation:
- Organization Administrators can add pools to all tenants.
- Tenant Administrators and Organization Users can add pools to tenants assigned to them.
Update Pool Name¶

Click the ellipsis icon next to a pool, and click Edit.

Update the pool name on the pool details page, and click Save.
Delete Machines¶

Open a pool from which you want to remove machines.

Under Machines, find the machine that you want to remove from this pool.

Click the ellipsis icon next to the machine, and click Remove machines.
Add or Remove Users¶

Add a user:

Open the pool details page of a VMware pool or a Registered Device pool.

Under Users, click + Add users.

On the Assign users to pool pop-up, select the users you want to add, and click Assign users.

The list of users is populated from the Entra ID that you provided.

Delete a user:

Locate the user you want to delete by using the search bar to filter the user list.

Click the delete icon next to the user.

Change Holding Time¶

Click the ellipsis icon next to a VMware pool, and click Edit.

On the pool details page, under Pool details, click the pencil icon next to Holding time.

On the Holding time pop-up, enter the new holding time for this pool, and click Confirm.
Change the Number of VMs¶

Click the ellipsis icon next to a VMware pool, and click Edit.

On the pool details page, under Pool details, click the pencil icon next to No of VMs.

On the VM quantity pop-up, enter the number of VMs to be provisioned, and click Confirm.
Delete a Pool¶

To delete a pool, click the delete icon next to the pool.

On the Delete pool pop-up, type the name of the pool, and Confirm.
