Adding Sites to Tenants

Follow the steps described below to add a site to a tenant.

If you are an organization administrator, you can add sites to all the tenants associated with your account. Tenant administrators can only add sites to the tenant to which they have rights.

1. From the Tenants page, click the tenant to which you want to add a site.

2. Go to Manage > Sites.

3. Click +Add site.

4. On the Add new site pop-up, select one of the following:

   • Blank: Select this option to create a site from scratch.

   • Template: Select this option to create a site from an existing one.

Creating a site from scratch

1. Create a Windows 365 site:

   1. Select Windows 365 and click Next.

   2. On the Add site page, provide the following details:

   

   - **Enter site name**: Type a name for the site and click **Next**. The name of the site cannot contain spaces or special characters.
   
   - **Select Azure region**: Select the preferred geography and region, and click **Submit**.
   

2. Create a VMware site:

   1. Select VMware and click Next.

   2. On the Add site page, provide the details listed below. Use the Next button to advance the wizard.

      • Enter site name: Type a name for the site and click Next. The name of the site cannot contain spaces or special characters.

      • Select location: Select the preferred geography and region for this site.

      • Enter vCenter Site Details: Provide the vCenter URL and credentials, and click Validate credentials.

      

      • Select directory service: Provide either the credentials to the Entra ID or the Active Directory that you want to associate with this site.

      

3. Click Create site.

Cloning a site

Info

You can only clone a site that belongs to the same tenant.

1. Select a site that you want to clone. Depending on the site you select, you will be prompted to create a Windows 365 site or a VMware site. Do one of the following:

2. On the Select site pop-up, select an existing site from which you want to create a new one.

3. From the list of sites, locate the site of your interest, click the ellipsis icon next to it, and then click Clone.

4. Follow step 1 of Creating a Windows 365 site if you selected a Windows 365 site to clone.

5. Follow step 2 of Creating a VMware site if you selected a VMware site to clone.
