Adding an Active Directory to a VMware Tenant

If an Active Directory was not added at the time of creating a VMware tenant, you can add it later.

Only Organization Administrators and Tenant Administrators can perform this operation.

1. Navigate to the Tenants page.

2. From the list of tenants, find the tenant that you want to edit.

3. Click the ellipsis icon next to it, and then click Edit.

4. In the top-right corner, click View Details.

5. Under Active Directory details, click + Add.

6. On the Update AD details pop-up, provide the AD username and password.

7. Click Confirm.

Updating Active Directory Details

You can update the Active Directory credentials of a VMware tenant from the tenant details page.

1. Navigate to the Tenants page.

2. From the list of tenants, find the tenant that you want to edit.

3. Click the ellipsis icon next to it, and then click Edit.

4. In the top-right corner, click View Details.

5. Under Active Directory details, click the pencil icon.

6. In the Update AD details pop-up, provide the AD username and password.

7. Click Confirm.
