What's New in This Release

This update of Anyware Manager Enterprise contains bug fixes and stability enhancements. Additionally, the following new features are introduced:

Monitor & Agent Updates At Pool Level For Granular Machine Management

The August update introduces the ability of scheduling agent and monitor updates at the pool level. Agent and monitor updates can now be specified for onboarded machines associated with pools, which override tenant update schedules. This provides precise control over machines, allowing for granular resource management.

For more information, see Scheduling Agent & Monitor Updates at Pool-level.

Changes to Edge Gateway Manageability

The August update includes the following changes to Edge Gateway manageability:

  • The current version of Edge Gateways is now displayed on the Gateways page. The centralized display of gateway versions reduces the time required to manually check for outdated gateways and makes it easier to identify gateways that require upgrades.

  • Separate port numbers for client and agent communication can now be specified. This ensures a dedicated port is available for communication between the Anyware Manager Enterprise and the Anyware clients and Anyware agents respectively.

Improvements to License Usage Visibility

The Licenses page now displays the following license details:

  • Current license usage through sessions

  • Peak license usage in the last 30 days

For more information, see Managing HP Anyware Licenses.

New Telemetry Metrics

In the August update, the following metrics have been added to session telemetry:

  • Bandwidth usage over time The total bandwidth consumed over a period of time.

  • Memory usage over time The total bandwidth consumed over a period of time.

These metrics are available as a graphical representation on the session details page. For more information, see Viewing Session Telemetry.
