What's New in This Release¶
This update of Anyware Manager Enterprise contains bug fixes and stability enhancements. Additionally, the following change are introduced:
Edge Gateways for Improved Connection Experience¶
The June update of Anyware Manager Enterprise introduces support for provisioning Edge Gateways, extending Cloud Gateway capabilities into previously unsupported regions. Edge Gateways can be provisioned from Anyware Manager Enterprise within minutes, generating installation commands. These commands facilitate the deployment of Edge Gateways in customer environments, effectively bridging the gap between Cloud Gateways and the regions where cloud gateways are not available. During deployment, Edge Gateways are associated with sites, which guarantees gateway service availability for a particular geographical region.
Edge gateways are easy to deploy and scale, making them adaptable to changing business needs. By routing sessions close to the point of origin, they reduce latency and ensure optimization of bandwidth and storage. Finally, they offer continuous service for high-performant environments, securely managing high-volume workloads.

This feature is in BETA.
Proactive Alerts & Remote Update Management¶
In the June update, a version display and smart alert system for Anyware agents and Anyware Monitors has been introduced. Two new columns displaying their version information are now available on the tenant details page. Additionally, alerts will be displayed for machines running Anyware agents and Anyware Monitor older than version 25.03, with the added capability to remotely initiate the updates.
The version display and proactive alerting system significantly cut down on efforts required to manually check versions, while ensuring newer updates, often including critical fixes, are quickly deployed. The result is a streamlined version management system, with reduced IT dependency and enhanced security.

Support for Licensing & Entitlement Visibility¶
The June update of Anyware Manager Enterprise introduces a new SaaS licensing model that permits tenant-level visibility into your HP Anyware subscriptions purchased on Azure Marketplace.
Previously, managing these licenses separately created additional overhead, making license management complicated. The new centralized, tenant-level license dashboard provides clear visibility into the consumption of HP Anyware licenses associated with Anyware Manager Enterprise, along with real-time usage insights. This ensures seamless integration with third-party licensing environments, helps pinpoints key usage patterns, and informs revenue decisions. For more information, see Managing Licenses.
New Telemetry & Session History Metrics¶
In this update, new metrics have been added to the session history and session telemetry respectively. This provides deeper insight into session health and makes it easier to diagnose issues related to user sessions and system resources.
The following metrics have been added to session history:
- CPU Utilization %
- Memory Utilization %
- GPU Utilization %
- PCoIP Latency
- PCoIP Packet Loss
- PCoIP Bandwidth/Throughput
- Protocol Mode: (Standard, Ultra CPU, Ultra GPU)
The following metrics have been added to session telemetry:
- CPU Utilization
- Bandwidth
- Memory Utilization
