What's New in This Release

  • VMware Broker to manage PCoIP Connections: The Connection Manager and Security Gateway use the VMware Broker to establish the PCoIP connection with the remote workstations in this release. This capability is only available for use with the Anyware Graphics Agent. To use this feature, configure --broker-url with the address of the VMware broker, and --enable-horizon.

    • Known Issue: The user may intermittently be presented with the lock screen upon session establishment.

    • Workaround: Press ctrl+alt+del and Sign-out from the operating system. (Do not disconnect the connection).

    • Known Issue: Anyware Standard Agent may crash if the VMware Broker Agent is installed alongside it.

Note: Upgrading from releases older than 22.01

If you are coming from releases prior to 22.01, please carefully review this documentation. The application's architecture changed significantly with release 22.01; upgrading may require a machine with different specifications.
