Assigning Friendly Names to Connection Broker Caches¶
Friendly names are now supported for Connection Broker Caches. Friendly names allow the Connect screen to display easy-to-read names in the connections dropdown, instead of just a URL.
You can add friendly names for the Connection Broker Caches in one of the following ways:
-
Through the Management Console Profile: Configure a profile to push friendly names to zero clients. The dropdown on the Connect screen will display a "Friendly Name" instead of the actual URL.
-
Via the Zero Client's Administrative Web Interface (AWI): You can directly add a friendly name for each connection within the Zero Client's web interface.
Info
A maximum of 25 friendly names are supported at any given time. This applies to friendly names created through both the Management Console profile and the Administrative Web Interface (AWI).
