Release 21.07.5 of the Software Client for Linux is a maintenance release which replaces and deprecates 21.07.4.

It includes the following updates:

  • ADPCM silence packets now use the correct timestamp for silence packets.
  • If the broker supports resetting a remote desktop, the user can now issue a reset command for an existing saved desktop.

Resolved Issues

An end user may now reset a remote desktop from the PCoIP Client

If the broker supports resetting a remote desktop, then the end user can issue a reset request from the PCoIP Client. 

Here is the procedure to reset a desktop for an existing saved Connection:

  1. From the gears menu of the saved Connection select Edit. 

  2. Follow the normal user authentication flow  

  3. At the desktop selections screen, find the remote desktop and select Reset in the gears menu.
