Installing the Zoom Plugin

This topic contains instructions for installing the Zoom Plugin.

Before you begin

Ensure that the following conditions are met:

  • You have administrator privileges on the client machine on which you want to install the Zoom Plugin.
  • The Zoom VDI Client is already installed on the agent machine.

Installation Procedure

 

  1. On the client machine, access the VDI releases and downloads page in a web browser.

  2. Under Compatible plugins, locate the installer version. The version must be 5.16.10 or later.

    Note: Version Parity

    The Zoom Plugin version you select must be the same as the version of the Zoom VDI Client on the agent machine.

  3. Under HP Anyware, download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit installer, depending on your computer’s configuration. The ZoomVDIUniversalPlugin.msi file is downloaded on your client machine.

  4. Disconnect any PCoIP session.

  5. Quit the Software Client.

  6. Double-click the installer to begin the installation.

  7. When the Select Installation Type dialog appears, select Custom, and then select the HP Anyware Plugin check box.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Follow the steps in the installation wizard to complete the installation.
