Prerequisites for Zoom VDI for HP Anyware

This section lists the prerequisites for installing and using Zoom VDI for HP Anyware.

OS Requirements

  • On agent machines, any Windows Server version mentioned in the "System Requirements" topic in the Windows agent guides must be installed.
  • On client machines, any Ubuntu version mentioned in the "System Requirements" topic in the Linux client guides must be installed.

HP Anyware Requirements

  • Graphics Agent for Windows 25.03 or later

  • Standard Agent for Windows 25.03 or later

  • Software Client for Linux 25.03 or later

    On version 25.03, the Zoom VDI Plugin must be separately installed. On version 25.06 and later, the Zoom VDI Plugin is a part of the Anyware Client installation package.

At present, Zoom VDI is only supported while connecting to Anyware Windows Agent machines.

Zoom VDI Requirements

  • Zoom VDI Client Host version 6.2.10
  • (Version 25.03 only) Zoom Media Plugin version 6.2.12 or newer

Installation Workflow

Step Description
I Install or upgrade Anyware Agent for Windows to version 25.03 or later.
II Version 25.03: Install or upgrade the Software Client. For more information, see the "Installing" topic in the client guide.
Version 25.06 and later: The Zoom Media Plugin is installed along with the client.
III Version 25.03: For fresh installation, install the Zoom Media Plugin on Anyware clients, and then install Zoom VDI Client Host on Anyware agents.
For upgrades, update the Zoom VDI Client Host first.
Version 25.06: Install or upgrade the Zoom VDI Client Host on your agents.
