HP Anyware is the enterprise software that IT needs to keep people and teams productive with secure access to their digital workspaces from any mix of infrastructure (cloud, data center, edge, workstation) and end-user device (PC, Mac, laptop, tablet, thin and zero client), anywhere.

The annual MacDevOps YVR conference is back for 2023 in Vancouver, BC and HP Anyware is proud to be sponsoring the event. The conference will be held from June 21-22, 2023 and brings together Mac admins, DevOps engineers, and security professionals from around the world for workshops and networking. The event will also be live-streamed for virtual audiences.

This year, MacDevOps YVR will be focusing on online data security for industries using Mac devices, as well as on improving manageability for devices and cloud integration. Chris Johnson, HP Anyware Product Manager, will be representing the team at MacDevOps YVR and shared some of his expectations for the event. You can catch Chris Johnson introducing the event in the live stream.

HP Anyware at MacDevOps YVR 2023

HP Anyware and MacDevOps YVR have had a longstanding association and we are delighted to return to the event, this year as a gold sponsor. On Day 1 of the conference, you can catch Chris Johnson as he gives the sponsors’ introduction.

"HP Anyware is about securely connecting remote workers to their workspace, regardless of platform,” said Johnson. “I'm super excited to connect with the Mac DevOps community and to understand their current challenges when it comes to managing Mac deployments for their remote teams."

HP Anyware is a high-performance digital workspace solution that enables IT to keep employees productive from wherever they work best. Based on pioneering PC-over-IP (PCoIP®) technology, Anyware enables secured access to virtual machines and digital workspaces, whether hosted on-prem or in the cloud.

Anyware’s lightweight agents and clients can be easily installed on hosts running a variety of operating systems, including macOS, as well as Mac devices with M1 and M2 Apple silicon.

HP Anyware is dedicated to evolving to meet Mac user needs, including improving the telemetry data available to customers. We are developing a dashboard that will be available to test in an upcoming beta release. Sign-up to get early access to the beta release here.

MacDevOps YVR 2023 highlight sessions

The Apple landscape is vastly different from Windows and the HP Anyware team endeavors to ensure that the user experience from Anyware is consistent regardless of the operating system of the client or the remote workstation.

Anyware’s Chris Johnson specializes in UI/UX, telemetry and benchmarking for Mac and Windows and is interested in gaining insights about what’s unique in the Mac space, particularly what Mac engineers and admins believe will help them manage their hybrid workforce better. Johnson has identified a few MacDevOps YVR 2023 sessions that will be particularly informative.

"The HP Anyware product suite is security-first when it comes to connecting remotely, so I'm looking forward to a great roundup of security-focused talks,” added Johnson.
