Display Experience During Login
During remote login to a macOS agent machine, setup dialogs are displayed with which you can interact. If a user is not already logged in, establishing a PCoIP connection automatically logs the user in.
Note: First Time Login Behavior
When you connect to the macOS agent machine for the first time, a series of setup dialogs will be displayed. If you disconnect during this setup, the agent machine will restart, after which you can establish the PCoIP session.
Note: Workaround for Unresponsive Active Directory Account Login
If the first time login of Active Directory accounts becomes unresponsive, first reboot the machine and then ensure that your Active Directory is configured to create mobile accounts.
The following display behaviors are observed during login:
- The mouse only functions on the primary monitor.
- Physical monitors connected to remote machines might display some inconsistencies:
- They cannot be seen in the PCoIP client.
- Login dialogs might appear on the physical monitors instead of the remote machines. To avoid these inconsistent behaviors, we recommend that you disconnect physical monitors from remote machines during login.
The following functionalities will be available only after login:
- Clipboard
- Mouse scroll
Note: About the Create Mobile Account Confirmation Dialog
While connecting using a PCoIP session, the Create Mobile Account Confirmation dialog becomes unavailable, and users are not prompted to confirm the creation of a mobile account, even if the Require confirmation before creating a mobile account option is selected. This is by design.
