Zoom VDI Plugin Setup

The Zoom VDI Plugin is now included as a part of the Anyware client. When installation of Anyware Client is initiated, the Zoom VDI Plugin is installed automatically unless you choose not to.

Setup Procedure

  1. Ensure that your Ubuntu machine meets the minimum requirements.

  2. Ensure that you have administrator privileges on the machine.

  3. Install or upgrade the Anyware client:

The Anyware client installs the newest version of the Zoom VDI Plugin. The libZoomPlugin.so file is found in the following location: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/org.hp.pcoip-client/vchan_plugins.

To opt out of installing the Zoom VDI Plugin, use the --no-install-recommends flag while installing Anyware client:

sudo apt install --no-install-recommends pcoip-client

Uninstalling the Zoom VDI Plugin

  1. Open a Terminal.

  2. Uninstall the Zoom VDI Plugin by running the following command:

    sudo apt remove zoomvdi-universal-plugin
