System Requirements
The Graphics Agent for macOS depends on the following system capacities and capabilities:
Host Requirements
Host machine requirements | |
---|---|
Operating Systems | Intel Macs: macOS 14 (Sonoma), macOS 15 (Sequoia) Apple Silicon Macs: macOS 14 (Sonoma), macOS 15 (Sequoia) |
Hardware Configurations | Supported on Apple Silicon Macs and newer (2017+) models of Intel-based Mac hardware, including:
|
Display Connectors | Standard cables such as HDMI or USB C. Some adapters, such as the StarLink USB A to DisplayPort adapter, are known to not work. |
Remote Host Memory |
|
Network Ports | The following ports must be open on the host desktop:
Collaboration sessions require 5 open UDP ports (64172-64176) UDP port 4172 does not need to be opened when using Anyware Manager Enterprise. |
Storage | At least 100MB for installation and 100MB for logging are recommended. |
User | You must create a user account for PCoIP connections. The user name cannot contain spaces, and cannot be the root user account. |
Certificate Requirements
Your OS's Trusted Root Certificate Authorities must include Amazon Root CA 1-4 for Cloud License Service (CLS) to function properly. Licensing issues may occur if they are missing.
For detailed instructions on installing Amazon Root CA 1-4, see Solution to Licensing Problems with Cloud License Service (CLS).
Info
If you experience issues resizing your desktop or using the copy and paste functionality after the initial login to the macOS Agent installed on macOS 15, consult the release notes.
Important: Many factors can impact performance
Actual performance depends on several factors, including available bandwidth, client and host machine capabilities, the number of monitors in use, and workload requirements.
