Client Logs

Anyware Client Logging

The Anyware Client for Linux writes log files that document its processes and interactions with other services such as brokers and agents. These files are invaluable in diagnosing problems. This page describes how logs are handled and where they can be found.

Using Zoom VDI

Using Zoom VDI

Zoom VDI for HP Anyware uses two components -- Zoom VDI Client on the agent machine and Zoom Plugin on client machines – working together to render the Zoom meeting on top of the Anyware client window. By default, the Zoom Plugin is automatically launched on the client machine every time a PCoIP session is initiated. Once launched, the Zoom Plugin connects to the Zoom VDI Client on the agent machine to render Zoom meetings.

About Zoom VDI for HP Anyware

Overview

Zoom VDI for HP Anyware allows for an enhanced video conferencing performance in HP Anyware environments, by offloading the audio and video streams from HP Anyware agent devices to HP Anyware client devices. The client devices handle the processing of the video and audio streams, and directly transmit the streams to and from Zoom servers, thereby resulting in improved conferencing experience.

Installing the Zoom Media Plugin

Installing the Zoom Media Plugin

This topic contains instructions for installing the Zoom Media Plugin.

When installing for the first time, Zoom recommends installing the Zoom Media Plugin on thin clients first, and then installing the VDI Client Host in the virtual desktop environment. However, while updating the VDI client and plugins, first update the VDI Client Host and then update the Zoom Media plugins on thin clients.
